Our 2011 Clan Gathering will be held June 17^th-19^th

in Bantry, County Cork

Note Change from Schull as of February 2011:

Due to unforeseen circumstances it has been necessary to change headquarters for the 2011 Gathering to Bantry from Schull as previously planned. The new venue will be the Maritime Hotel in Bantry. For those who wish to stay in the hotel 10 rooms are being held for O’Mahony Society members at the following rates but only for a limited time until March 7^th. The offer is as follows although alternative arrangements can presumably be negotiated.

The programme of events still stands as previously announced. (See below.) The rally will take place as planned on Sunday at Rossmore Castle near Durrus in the Muintervara peninsula. Durrus is approximately 10 miles from Bantry. The last O’Mahony Gathering attended by our founder, Eoin (the Pope) O’Mahony was held at Rossmore Castle in 1969. The 1992 Gathering was also held at Rossmore.

We apologise for these changes which unfortunately were beyond our control.

Clan Gathering with ceremony and speakers – 3 p.m.
